Dorothy Rick will share her expertise from the field and answer your questions. She has presented at numerous forums promoting collaborative care models for depression screening and management in primary/ obstetric care and has been an active participant with the Brooklyn Perinatal Partnership. Dorothy worked for The NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene for seventeen years until retiring in January. During that time she held faculty appointments at both Columbia and NYU's schools of Social Work. In 2006 she became the Director of Depression Initiatives for the Department. In that capacity her role was to coordinate citywide initiatives to promote awareness of depression and it's critical impact, if undetected and untreated, on the lives of New Yorkers.About Molly Peryer:Molly has a Master of Social Work degree and is a co-founder of Brooklyn PPD Support. She recovered from PPD seven years ago. She has conducted research on peer support, led psychoeducational groups and counseled individuals suffering from psychosis, depression, and anxiety disorders.

I am also a certified Yoga and Meditation teacher with a holistic, individualized approach to healing. These services are provided by Melissa Paschke, LCSW.
